This is another small introductory article before writing the main article series.
I already wrote earlier that man is a rather peaceful creature. It is both true and not true at the same time. Anthropology tells us that humans are more peaceful than apes. And this is one of the reasons for our intelligence. However, we were once even more peaceful.
This was in those times when we were just becoming rational. When our intelligence manifested itself, then cruelty woke up. In an interesting way, this evolutionarily reduced our aggression. Human societies with increased aggression were unable to compete with more peaceful societies. In addition, neighbors, women and even their own children suffered from internal aggression. Aggression began to decline again, and human society became more complex. However, due to climate change, nutritional problems have arisen. At the same time, a more developed society began to produce more dangerous weapons. And this process was going on until recently. Until atomic weapons appeared. Fortunately, we have survived the most dangerous period since the appearance of such a weapon. But this does not mean that we are now in white safety. But now, after many thousands of years, people have regained the understanding that it is necessary to put weapons aside and begin to negotiate.
But if we go back to the source of aggression. We have not changed biologically and psychologically over the past millennia. We’ve just formed a developed culture. Certain worldview values. Until now, we are not much different from our distant ancestors. And food problems still multiply our aggression. Probably every person who has studied history will be able to cite many such examples. Examples from both the distant past and the present. And unfortunately, it is often used as one of the management tools.
Now all of humanity has entered a period of instability. There is neither a complete nor a fair system of food distribution around the planet. Many peoples are still starving. At the same time, information about a possible global food crisis is being received from various parts of the planet.
And it’s very bad. This is a very serious challenge for all of humanity. Whether we will be able to answer this challenge is unknown.
